AJ,
I only recently found your blog from the link on Soph's site, but I like it and wish I found it earlier. I read the article you posted a link to here and and find it curious. My understanding is that Jesus said, "For this I was born and for this I came into the world," refering to His passion, death and resurrection. Even as He hung and died He prayed to God and said, "Forgive them, for they know not what they do." While it is clear that Christians have a better faith it is also clear that we share in what was initially given to God's chosen people-the same who are His family.

Joel,

Thanks for your comments. I enjoyed browsing through your blog. As you say in one post, Christianity has a more full revelation, and we can be glad, but humbled in that. Fortunately Jesus came to spread the Kingdom of God to all men, so that we could all be rightfully called His. We must remember though, as my priest said, for those who are closer to the sun, it is easier to get burned.
